State-Level Success in Lawn Tennis

Tanish of Class XI A and Manasvi of Class XII B secured the II place in Lawn Tennis at the State Level and have been selected for the Nationals under the Under-19 category, conducted by the School Games Federation of Andhra Pradesh.







Spiritual Programme

Divine Participation in Padmavathi Ammavari Brahmotsavams

Date: 18th November 2025

On the occasion of Padmavathi Ammavari Brahmotsavams, nearly 15 teachers were blessed with the opportunity to participate in the Lakshmi Sahasranama Parayanam held at the Asthana Mandapam on 18th November 2025. The serene atmosphere and the collective chanting created a deeply spiritual ambience.

After the Parayanam, teachers received prasadam and were fortunate to have a divine darshan at the temple. The experience was truly enriching and filled them with a sense of devotion and inner peace.

Mahavatar Babaji Birth Anniversary

Date: 29th November 2025

Mahavatar Babaji's birth anniversary was observed as a Spiritual Day on our campus on 29th November 2025. Dr. N. Satyanarayana Raju, Honorary Director, spoke about Babaji's life, teachings, and the significance of Kriya Yoga. He encouraged teachers to read Autobiography of a Yogi and advised students to practice Yoga and Meditation. Class VIII students recited Bhagavad Gita shlokas, adding a devotional touch. The programme concluded with inspiring reflections on Babaji's wisdom.

Morning Assembly: Inspiring Beginnings

The morning assembly is conducted in an innovative way, with motivating talks by both teachers and students, and renewed focus on school prayer. These purposeful additions help students start the day with clarity, confidence, and positive energy.

Counseling for Class IX Students and Parents

Date: 1st November 2025

A counseling session for the parents and students of Class IX was held on 1st November 2025 in the school auditorium. The session aimed to guide students and parents towards a balanced and responsible approach to academics and technology.

The special guest, Sri S. Sapthagiri, Counsellor, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of handling technology with care. He highlighted the ill effects of excessive mobile phone usage and encouraged students to use technology wisely.

The Director motivated the students to strive for excellence and bring laurels to their parents and the Vidyalaya. The Principal and Vice Principal advised parents to closely monitor their wards and help them develop good habits and discipline.

Guidance Session for Class X Students and Parents

Date: 1st November 2025

On 1st November 2025, a special session was held in the afternoon for Class X students and their parents as part of the Parent-Teacher Meet. Subject teachers shared valuable tips for preparing and writing the Board Examination through an informative PowerPoint presentation.

The Principal briefed the gathering on the tentative schedule of the upcoming examinations. Mr. Tirupal, Senior Secondary Teacher, elaborated on various career opportunities and motivated students to choose courses best suited to their interests and abilities.

II Parent-Teacher Meeting

Date: 1st and 3rd November 2025

The second parent-teacher meeting was held on 1st November for classes from Pre-Primary to Class X and on 3rd November for the Senior Secondary section. The meeting served as a valuable opportunity for one-to-one discussions between parents and teachers regarding the academic progress and behavioral aspects of the students, reinforcing the shared commitment to their holistic development.

Students Orientation Programme: Exploring the Beauty of Mathematics

Date: 14th November 2025

We were honoured to host Professor Siva Sankara Sastry from IISc Bangalore, who delivered an engaging session on "Mathematics in Daily Life" for our senior secondary students on 14th November. Nearly 60 students participated in the one-hour programme, gaining fresh insights into the relevance of mathematics in everyday life.

Professor Sastry highlighted how mathematical concepts shape our daily experiences and shared the inspiring story of the Greek mathematician Thales of Miletus, bringing early mathematical thought to life. He further captivated the audience through interactive numbering games and hands-on Kirigami activities.

On the same day, Professor V. S. Sastry from Kolar conducted an inspiring and interactive session on practical and creative Mathematics for nearly 60 students from the secondary and senior secondary sections. He introduced engaging workshop themes---from aerodynamics and Platonic solids to mathematical activities and astronomy---showing how math connects to real-world ideas.

All India Bhavan's Principal's Conference

Date: 6th to 9th November 2025

Our Principal Mrs D Padmaja, attended the XVI All India Conference for Bhavan's Principals of Secondary & Senior Secondary Schools, held from 6th to 9th November 2025 at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Amritsar. The conference, centred on the theme "Expanding Horizons Without Losing Roots," focused on innovative teaching practices, student well-being, and effective school leadership.

After returning, the Principal shared the key learnings with the teachers through meetings conducted in different phases, ensuring that the insights gained are incorporated into teaching and school practices.

Foundation Day of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan

Date: 7th November 2025

On 7th November, our Vidyalaya observed the Foundation Day of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, founded by Kulapati K. M. Munshi in 1938 with the blessings of Mahatma Gandhi. The programme began with a floral tribute and garlanding of Munshi's bust by our Director, teachers, and students. Our Director highlighted the inception of the Bhavan in Mumbai and its vision of harmonizing Indian and Western cultures.

Commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of "Vande Mataram"

Date: 7th November 2025

In adherence to CBSE Circular No. Acad-85/2025, our Vidyalaya proudly celebrated the 150th anniversary of the national song, "Vande Mataram," originally composed in 1875. On November 7 at 10:00 a.m., a special commemoration was held. Under the guidance of the Social Science teachers, all classes paused for the national song, with students standing at attention. Following this, the Music teacher led the singing, reinforcing the patriotic and historic significance of the stirring national song.

Children's Day

Date: 14th November 2025

Children's Day was celebrated on November 14th with great enthusiasm. Students arrived in traditional attire, and the classrooms were beautifully decorated with balloons and colourful displays. A special assembly was presented by the teachers, during which academic toppers of the Half-Yearly Examinations were honoured with books as a token of appreciation.

During the morning assembly, our Director addressed the gathering and encouraged the students to draw inspiration from the lives of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Shri K. M. Munshi. Class teachers organised fun classroom games and awarded prizes to the winners. Sweets were also distributed to all students.

Karthika Gnanamrutham

Date: 14th November 2025

The month of Karthika symbolizes spirituality, and the school marked it by hosting Karthika Gnanamrutham, a spiritual discourse in the auditorium on 14th November 2025. Chief Guest Dr. P. Neelakanta Sivacharya, S.V. Vedic University, highlighted the significance of Karthika Masam and the worship of Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. Director Dr. N. Satyanarayana Raju urged students to imbibe values and strive for national prosperity.

Kartheeka Vanaradhana

Date: 14th November 2025

Karthika Vanaradhana was observed on 14th November, continuing the cherished tradition of our Vidyalaya. On this occasion, students offered prayers to the sacred trees and reflected on the importance of protecting nature. Our Director addressed the gathering, encouraging students to care for the environment and contribute to growing more trees. A student of Class VIII highlighted the significance of afforestation. Nearly fifteen sacred trees were worshipped as part of the ceremony.

Kartheeka Vanabhojana

Date: 14th November 2025

Kartheeka Vanabhojana, another cherished tradition of our Vidyalaya, was observed on 14th November. On this occasion, the school hosted a special lunch for the members of the school management, school associates, well-wishers, and staff. The gathering reflected the spirit of togetherness and strengthened the bond within the school community.

SHE Team Awareness Session

Date: 28th November 2025

The SHE Team conducted an awareness session for the students of Classes 8 and 9 on 28th November. The 30-minute interactive session focused on cybercrime prevention, safe use of social media platforms, and the importance of being alert and responsible while online. Students gained valuable guidance on maintaining digital safety and protecting themselves from online misuse.

Fun-Filled Day at Fun World, Bengaluru

Date: 28th November 2025

The students of Classes X, XI, and XII had an exciting outing to Fun World, Bengaluru on 28 November 2025. From early morning travel to enjoying water rides and amusement attractions, the day was packed with enjoyment and energy. The school arranged all meals and ensured strict adherence to safety and discipline. Students returned by 11:00 p.m., carrying home happy memories.

Stretcher Trolley Donation

We gratefully acknowledge the donation of a stretcher trolley by Mr. S. Bharath, an old student of our school and parent of S. Bahudev Reddy of Class I D. His thoughtful support will benefit the school's medical room. We sincerely appreciate his generosity.

Co-curricular Competitions

Kurukshetra Business Quiz

Date: 9th November 2025

On 9th November 2025, the Kurukshetra Business Quiz showcased the sharp business acumen of Class 11 and 12 Commerce students through seven Mahabharata-themed teams. With strong competition across all rounds, Team Bheeshma emerged as the clear winner, while Team Karna secured the Runners-Up position.

Inter-House Extempore Competition

Date: 15th November 2025

As part of the Inter-House Competitions, an Extempore event was conducted for the Sub-Junior category on 15th November for students of Classes IV and V. Participants picked one topic from a set of three and spoke confidently for 2-3 minutes. The students showcased their efforts and performed to the best of their abilities.

Grand Finale of Debate Competition

Date: 23rd November 2025

The grand finale of the debate was held on 23rd November between Bhishma House and Arjun House on the thought-provoking theme, "Can Robot Assistants Replace Teachers in the Future?" The session was lively and engaging, with participants presenting spontaneous and well-reasoned arguments. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the spirited exchange.

PopSicle Craft Competition - Class 1

Our Class 1 students took part in a delightful Popsicle Craft Competition, showcasing their imagination and creativity. Using colorful popsicle sticks, the children crafted charming mini-art pieces---ranging from tiny houses to playful shapes---while enjoying a fun, hands-on learning experience.

Photo Frames Activity - Class 2

As part of their co-curricular activities, Class 2 students participated in a creative competition where they made beautiful photo frames using newspaper. The activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, and the joy of crafting with eco-friendly materials.

Club Activities

Social Club - Communal Harmony Week

Date: 19th to 26th November 2025

HOPE, the Social Club, observed Communal Harmony Week from 19th to 26th November with the aim of fostering unity and mutual respect among students. A range of creative competitions was organised for Classes 4 to 10, including greeting card making on festivals, collage work on traditional attire and celebrations, recipe card designing on religious cuisines, and posters promoting religious harmony.

Constitution Day Observed

Date: 26th November 2025

On 26th November, our campus observed Constitution Day with the reading of the Preamble by an Apex Body member, which all students repeated together. Students were briefly explained the significance and enduring relevance of the Indian Constitution, reaffirming its values of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

Mathemagika - National Mathematics Day Week

Date: 24th to 29th November 2025

To celebrate National Mathematics Day, the Mathemagika (Math Club) conducted a variety of creative competitions for Classes I to X from 24th to 29th November 2025. Students participated enthusiastically in activities involving 2D and 3D shapes, craft integration, Mandala art, Warli art, musical instruments with shapes, photo frames, wall hangings, jewellery making, and eco-friendly mathematical models.
